Quoted a new transmission at 2100, once it was removed, he said he could save me 400-600 having it rebuilt. He was supposed to call on that Monday and let us know if it can be rebuilt or not. He was supposed to have the transmission installed, new or rebuilt no later than April 2nd. He did not call, he ignored our calls, then he came by the house and said he was in the hospital and could not work. During the phone call that was 2 days late, he became extremely rude and said that we'd be lucky if we got the car in 2 weeks. Finally he showed up and installed the transmission but refused to produce a receipt (as promised) from the Auto Part Store and claimed that his receipt was sufficient. He charged for a new transmission but the receipt says that it's a rebuild. He also refused to honor our agreement for payment and said he'd impound the car and it would cost us 3 times as much to get it back. He said he'd pay for the cab fare that I had to use for my appointments since I can not walk farther than my parking lot taking the bus was out of the question. He is dishonest, unreliable, and rude. He took advantage of a middle-aged disabled woman and should not be in business, nor even have a job in the automotive industry.
