Roadway Express Inc. ripoff abused & mistreated Adelanto California
I was fired from the job I had for 23 years. Because of an Illegal, none standard, none contractual, drug (urine)test given to me by my employer, Roadway Express Inc.
I have documented more than 40% errors done in the collection and testing procedure according to DHHS, DOT, and Teamster National Master frieght Agreement. Most of these errors were not simple administration errors, but were major gross errors. Which should have qualified for the "test" being thrown out. These include but not limited to, wrong time,(3 hrs. difference, wrong assecession number, wrong Medical Review Officer, not allowed to have reading glasses to see or sign for urine sample, Obvious forgery on my Control and Custody form. Obvious omitting of data on CCF,missing urine sample,Artical 35 section4 B of NMFA was not given at all. And much, much, more. As if this was not enough, the urine collection site, which is also a hospital, has no record of me ever being there.
At the teamster/management hearing, Roadway lied, altered the rules of evidence. Thus denying me the right of Due Process.
I have the necessary documentation to back up these claims.

Here I thought I was the only one,I was harassed out in 05 after a year and a half of steady every day harassment.But when tires and other parts started falling off of the trucks I was driving then I left.Everyone thinks they are fine upstanding company,if only they knew the half of it.Not to mention I was paying my protection money so the Teamsters could protect Roadway.The Teamsters can't figure out why they are on there way out.
To anyone that reads these reports,they are now YRC,Yellow Roadway.
Also they have bad mouthed me so bad I can't get another job and they think they won,but did they?
These people have to be put out of business because it is obvious they are not going to change.At this present rate I don't think they can survive anyway unless the Teamsters take bigger cuts and I don't see that happening.It is unfortunet that the honest people have to lose a good job because of crooks and liars.

Husband going up flight of stairs and slipped on axle grease and fell down the stairs and hit his chest on a radiator. They put a difibrillator in him next morning and friend he was talking to amitted he fell on axle grease. Well he die and all I got from Roadway was 1/3 the 50% joint payment monthly cause he had 6 more years to go for retirement and I was disable and without him I had to take it instead of being able to wait 6 years to get full 50% monthly payment. Did the union help no..husband always said the union manager was for the company not the members. I file a lawsuit but because he was on high blood pressure I lost case or judge got a gift from them..who knows..Hard to beat a company with alot of lawyers..So just be happy you still alive and kicking.. O yes I did get flowers for funeral from Roadway how nice...

James I bet HR Ralph Santarelli did not help you at all did he? James their is alot of coruption with this company along with union members and company teaming up as a team in order to get you out. Are you a TDU member because they do not like them. Are you a person who stands up for your rights and your contractural rights? They don't like that also. I bet you are called a trouble maker? don't feel bad so was I. After filing EEOC charges on them I was finally vindicated by EEOC. I was able to prove that I was not the problem but management was.
You see James when the company has eat outs where they supply the food do not eat nor drink it never because this is how they can get you to test positive right? If the company or your union is out to destroy you never trust them. When they give you a urine test pay the 20 dollars to get another one from your doctor in the same day. This is how you get them. If theirs comes up positive and yours doesn't then you have got a case.
James if ever you have had a drug problem before they can use that against you and set you up. Call EEoC file charges and show them all of your evidence and hang them. By the way Roadway Express do not care for people of color. When ever something is non contractural then you have the rights to waive your wein gardening rights and ask for union representation Good luck

Was this a random or reasonable suspician test? Typical urine test has you sign a chian of custody form, pee in a cup, then they seal that in your presence using the seals that you initialed. These seals are typically initialed by you while you are standing next to the nurse. I've taken multiple urine tests. WHy would they not allow you to wear reading glasses? The MRO does not have to be one particular one or the other, if they use the wrong Medical REview Officer they can still get the results. A MRO is an MRO, they all are qualified, so it does not matter if they used one vs the other, that has to do with billing and paperwork.

Get your own backup sample at nearest hospital ASAP!

Anytime you are subjected to a drug test by your employer you should immediately go to the nearest hospital and have a blood sample taken and logged in the records. If you fail the company test you will have a backup to prove your innocence if in fact you are clean.
