Yair J. Kramerman is a liar and has been doing this under several names and companies -- and now my personal and sentimental items are just gone, as well as $1,020 of my money!
I hired movers to bring over some of my stuff from a storage unit in NJ to my place in Denver. I checked the company's DOT number, Roadways Van Lines, and confirmed that any complaints against them were just about their pricing. The company was called Roadways Van Lines out of Hollywood, Florida. All phone numbers I was given did in fact match up to the numbers for this company. It is owned by a man named Yair J. Kramerman who I spoke to today at the number the DOT gave me. He said he sold the company to a man named Raviv Aaron 2 years ago, however he last filed with the DOT less than a year ago -- and the contact I worked with is Maya Johnson (who was working with Roadways last year according to a ripoff report already on here with her contact info).
The movers came and met me on 5/4 when I was in Philly. I paid them $1,020 ($200 deposit on credit card at first and then $770 in a check). It's been a couple weeks of talking to the dispatcher, a man named Jay at 718-696-7625 who it appears from all I can find out once ran a company called Mr. Clean in Brooklyn, NY too. He doesn't answer his phone for me anymore.
As of yesterday, no numbers I had for dispatchers at Roadways work. I was told by Yair that he shut down all phone numbers for the company because he sold the company to a man named Raviv Aaron in Hackensack, NJ who's number he has does not work. He changed his Facebook page yesterday to reflect that he is a former owner of Roadways, though before that it said he currently owned it. Raviv endorsed my check for $770, and I will now be able to get my band to do a fraud endorsement case against that as a result (since it wasn't endorsed by the person I wrote it to), but otherwise, I can only find 2 numbers for him which both link to an old moving company that was reported as a scam and shut down and also a used car company called Cash Your Car (cashyourcar.net).
As mentioned, the contact who I worked with on booking this was a woman name Maya Johnson. Maya's number is linked to a toll free number that goes directly to her cell phone. She was semi-responsive, though she is no longer and doesn't hear from Jay or the moving company and says she no longer works for the company.
The bigger issue is my stuff and finding these guys. I have filed a police report in both Hollwood, Florida and Maple Shade, NJ. I have filed with every body once can imagine and will be hiring a private investigator and a lawyer. I will also have the help of my bank and my rental insurance company (a major insurance company).
Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated. But, also, stay away from any and all of these people in any sort of business.
