When United Flea markets bought Ramona over a year ago, they promised to maintain this treasure.  They have not.  Poor management, no maintenance, and a lack of management skills has, and is destroying this longtime treasure.  They have raised rent, increased fees, and not put a dollar back into the market.  A fire a month or so ago almost destroyed one building.  Follow ups by the fire department shows the lack of maintenance and poor management, as power was off for weeks for the other vendors.  It's amazing they have been allowed to reopen.

The only benefit of the fire was chasing the rats out of that building and back towards the food operations, where they have been all along.  The manager doesn't come out of his office anymore.  Rumor has it he has a bum leg.  Buy him a scooter!  Good grief.  I've talked to him many times, he just shakes his head and agrees, but doesn't have any money to fix or upgrade anything and blames Denver.  Well he should look at all the extra money we are paying for NOTHING.  Somebody is making money, it isn't us.  Oh, did I mention they raised the entry fees???

Food stands are dirty.  Many of us vendors are unhappy, but afraid to say anything.  UFM, if you don't believe the people paying the rent to keep you going, talk to the employees.  They are fed up also.  So wake up Matt in the office, get him a scooter, and give us our monies worth and fix some things.

I grew up going here.  I'm so sad in what it's becoming fast!  And do something about the rats.  We are naming them.
