I bought a Porsche 911 from Robb Francis two months ago, and two more years ago when he was at High Marks in Morristown. I was assured by Robb Francis that everything was up to speed, and that all fluids, etc were done when the car was brought in. The car was almost 10 years old, and it turns out that nothing was done on the car except an oil change. I was completely lied to.

I'm young and should have known better than to trust a car salesmen. No spark plugs, brake fluids, coolant, belt, nothing. Of course I wasn't told about a broken passenger seat electrical or the horrible break squeal (yea yea I know the big red's squeal, but this is my 3rd and it has never been this bad). When I picked up the car, the alignment was horribly off too, and that wasn't even done. Everything is way past due. To say the least, I am furious with this company.

Robb Francis used to work at High Marks in Morristown, and that's where I bought my other two 911's, which ran AMAZING. It turns out, Robb does this all the time, where he takes a beat up 911, cleans it well but thats it, and claims that maintance was done when it wasn't. Stick to High Marks where they actually do maintance on the cars when they get them in.

Numerous Inconsistencies: Lack of Credibility

As a consumer who prides in doing business with dealerships that uphold integrity and customer satisfaction and relationships in the highest regard before anything else, I cannot let this report sit on the free web, as it is 100% false and innacurate as I shall fully explain in detail for consumers to see. It simply grinds my gears to see falsified statements, fabrications, and blatent lies made about a small business with the alleged intent to tarnish it's reputation.

With regard to the report submitted by RandallK1 on June 16th, 2015, there are numerous inconsistencies I would like to address in the order in which they were addressed by the complaintant:

- "I bought a Porsche 911 from Robb Francis two months ago, and two more years ago when he was at High Marks in Morristown."

This individual claims that they purchased a vehicle from Robb Francis when he was at High Marques in Morristown two years prior to writing this report. That would mean that the individual purchased said vehicles sometime in the year 2013. That is simply untrue and physically impossible, because Robb Francis left High Marques in the year 2007. When the complaintant claims he purchased two vehicles from Robb Francis in 2013 when he was at High Marques, is an outright lie, as Robb Francis had absolutely no affiliation with High Marques, or with any of it's staff/employees at that time, or any time after leaving High Marques in the year 2007.

- "...or the horrible break squeal (yea yea I know the big red's squeal, but this is my 3rd and it has never been this bad)."

By "big red's" I assume the complaintant is referring to the steel brakes standard on all Porsche 911 models. Porsche brakes with black calipers (found on the base 911 models), or red calipers (found on the "S", "4S", "Targa 4S", "GTS", and optional on the "GT3"), were steel brakes, which do not squeel. The brakes that commonly squeel, are carbon ceramic brakes, or more commonly known as PCCB (Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake). This is not unique to the Porsche brand, the majority of manufacturers with carbon ceramic brakes on them tend to squeel because of the compound used in the rotors. Furthermore on Porsche's, the brakes that squeel are yellow, not red. Porsche's PCCB's are distinguishable because of their yellow calipers, which are larger in size than the red or black ones on the standard models.

- "Robb Francis used to work at High Marks in Morristown, and that's where I bought my other two 911's, which ran AMAZING. It turns out, Robb does this all the time, where he takes a beat up 911, cleans it well but thats it, and claims that maintance was done when it wasn't. Stick to High Marks where they actually do maintance on the cars when they get them in."

This last paragraph grinds my gears and if anything before this held the slightest credibility, this certainly makes for the icing on the cake. Here's my take - Robb Francis Sports Cars is one of the finest private dealerships specializing in only the finest caliber cars, while ensuring full customer satisfaction and relationship building. Reading this report, to me, is an attempt to tarnish the reputation of an exquisite establishment and place of business.

The inconsistencies in this report blatently tell me that this is a desperate and outright lie to try and hurt the reputation of an extremely well respected, hard working businessman. Robb Francis left High Marques in 2007, if you are going to fabricate a fantasy, it would make sense to check your facts first. I cannot let that sit and mislead the public. My honest opinion is that this is a pathetic desperate attempt to tarnish the reputation of an honest business because the individuals putting this report out there seem to be trying to point fingers at anyone but who they are affiliated with.

What you did is just come in and buy the car, don't even take it for a test drive, don't even check things out, right?  But its ALL their fault, isn't it?  This could have all been avoided.  Any SMART CONSUMER would have taken time to check the car out BEFORE buying it!
