I got solicited for a real estate seminar. Once I got there, with a long line and room full of people, we got lots of information with no defined details to anything. Then we got pitched a hard sell, reduced seminar that would give us all the details and expert counselors to help us put our "deals" together.

I shared the cost with a guy and we went to the weekend seminar. It cost each of us over $1800. We got a crap load of printed books or manuals.

I took massive notes but the info was given at such a rapid rate, before all of the details were given, they would switch gears and go onto something else.

In the end, it was just a lot of confusing data thrown at us. In the middle of the seminar, we got yet another hard sell and "reduced price" of additional
training and counselling. It was like $25,000!

We tried to get our money back a couple days later and months later still got no money back. No one knew anything about us and the staff that was supposedly helping us, everytime we called back...again and again and again and again...you get the point...that person no longer worked there...that person was no longer with the company.

Beware! This guy maybe made his money by ripping off people big time, wasting our time, and getting more money.

We were amazed at all the people signing up for the really expensive $25,000 plus additional plans! They were suppose to get guarantees but the paperwork they got was all very vague.

KEEP YOUR MONEY OR GIVE IT TO THE POOR! TOTAL SCAMMERS!

You have the wrong Company

The company you are referring to is not EWI, but CWI. I'm a student with EWI and have done a few real estate deals with this training. I'm hoping to do more. CWI is based in Florida and they bought the rights to use Robert Allen's name, something which he now knows was a mistake, but do to a legal contract he can not get out of it. Also, remember at a seminar you are getting a lot of info thrown at you and is hard to absorb and it's for a mass audience that might not apply to your specific situation.

I don't like seminars; if I wanted to learn how to ride a bike I don't go hear someone talk about how to do it or read a book. I would have someone that knows how to ride a bike; and teach me by taking a bike putting me on it and walking beside me until I can do it on my own. Same thing with real estate investing, I have someone that is a mentor and they had been there and done it. They show me how to do this step-by-step.
