I was just informed of this posting on rip-off report. 1-16-2013

I have never lived at this address. My sister and her boyfriend reside at the decatur address.I have no knowledge of buisnesses conducted from, or responsible for any actions from this address.

Im tied to this only by my mothers death. I am half legal owner of the decatur address by inheritance.    My sister owns other half.

Loretta franke, and Scott briggs reside at this address. without my permission. I do not communicate with them. Looks like I will have to take legal action to clear this up.

This is slandering my good name. This will be resolved!   I have no idea who this garcia person is.

First of all, let me state that this report was filed as a result of poor communication between Troy Garcia, the seller of a Toilet and recent guest at my house in Decatur, to Theresa (Terri) Jane Teel residing at 2300 E Tennessee Ave, Denver, CO From what I since learned, this originated late Feb., 2012 by way of Craigslist. She contacted him with interest to purchase and details were discussed. Ms Teel sent her check to purchase to Troy Garcia via my mailbox here in Decatur. As the writer of this rebuttal, I knew nothing of this transaction until Monday 3/26/12. The "High End" Kohler toilet in question was in Houston, which she knew, and had to be retrieved by Mr. Garcia in order for it to be shipped. According to Mr Garcia, Ms Teel was in no hurry to receive it and knew this process would take time.

I believe this vile Ripoffreport was initiated as a result of a "failure to communicate", not with malicious intention to scam or defraud.

On Monday March 26th I was informed that Ms Teel had phoned my step son demanding to know who Troy Garcia was, where he might be found and stated she was the victim of a scam. It seemed this lady was upset and needed to get in touch with Mr Garcia immediately. I asked my step son Leif for her phone number which I then recognized as one that had called me two days before but had left no message. I called Troy Garcia and asked him what was going on and he explained he had sold this woman a toilet on Craigslist and that he had just brought it back from Houston the day before. He explained that this item had some "scratches" on it, told her about it, and had spent time in Houston during the previous week attempting to repair the cosmetic blemishes so that his customer (Ms Teel) would be happy with it.

I immediately called Ms Teel, identified myself, explained that my step son had called me irate with her contact and invasive questioning, how could I help? She stated that she wanted her toilet and that she didn't believe that Troy Garcia even existed. She stated she went ton the Internet and located the owners of the property at the address where she had sent her check, where upon she got the names of me and my brother. This is where the defamation of character begins. She posted the lies on this posting along with another, claiming that my brother Robert, myself, Scott Briggs, Robert Laquitara and all of our children were somehow involved in Organized Criminal Activity, grifters, hillbillies, unscrupulous people, that any and all businesses affiliated with us INCLUDING Brett Boland of Boland Construction was a scam company, she listed all related addresses and telephone numbers both past and present and reiterated to "do not do business with these people"! When I spoke to Ms Teel on Monday afternoon around 4pm, I had no knowledge of what she had posted. Some were put up on Friday 3/23, others on Saturday, 3/24. When I found these, words cannot describe my shock and horror. I immediately spoke to Mr Garcia and asked him what he was doing to rectify this situation. He told me when he spoken to Ms Teel on Monday, not only was he sorry for the delay in communication, but that he would be happy to refund her payment that day via Paypal or certified funds. He explained the work he had done to make this toilet as perfect as possible so that she would have been beyond pleased with her purchase, and that it was now in his possession and ready to ship. He also asked about how it was to be shipped where upon she stated Greyhound Bus was the best way. Tuesday 3/27 he took this toilet, crated and boxed all parts and paid over $300 to have it sent to her. I verified it's arrival in Denver on 3/29/12 and verified her personal receipt today, 3/31/12. Let me also mention I personally received a threatening email, written Sunday 3/23, stating she was going to sue me and all others for scamming her out of her $750 for an item I was somehow linked to. She also stated she was going to post her story to all internet websites so that my entire family would know "what horrible criminal acts" Me and my brother were involved in. This entire situation is the fault of Mr Garcia. He should have kept Ms Teel updated on the progress of this transaction. However the damage has been done. She contacted members of my family who had no knowledge of Mr Garcia, this transaction or what had happened. Thru a knee jerk reaction she ASSUMED that since we are owners of the property, WE MUST BE involved. How very, very sad. At this point, let me state for the record, I have not heard from Ms Teel from emails I sent to her after my initial and only conversation we had by phone on Monday. There have been no retractions, no apologies, no replies to text messages, nothing. Let me mention again, had she left me a message on my cell phone on Saturday 3/24, this would have been most easily resolved. But she didn't. I sickens me that people use their 1st Amendment rights by way of Ripoffreport.com to post fantasticly untrue stories WITHOUT those doing so doing everything they humanly can to insure they post the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. She obviously didn't do that. This woman has launched a firestorm the likes of which I have never, ever seen. I only wonder if the myriad other lives who she so confidently posted on the second ripoffreport.com report, know of her unconscious incompetence. My Faith in humanity has been damaged. My Faith in my God is still strong and I hope and pray that this "seemingly victimized" woman in Denver does the right thing and takes down all postings involving everyone except Mr Garcia. As I mentioned in the beginning of this post, her anger, rage, hate, etc is and should be directed towards Mr Garcia.

Ms Teel, as I said before, I sincerely hope you enjoy all of it's many features and benefits and when you pull the handle or push the button, I hope the sound of the water flushing will forever remind you of the sh*t you've created. Have a Blessed Day Innocent in Texas
