Robert Croak solicits inventions to produce and promote from his website robertcroak.com. In 2012 i contacted him with my concepts. In 2014 i agreed to invest $10,000 us with 10k more to follow once Mr.Croak provided prototypes, a website, a product launch and possible production following a sucessful launch. By the fall of 2014 the deal was in jeopardy due to missed deadlines and poor communication on Mr. Croaks part. He offered my a partial rebate as i challenged his performance.
I demanded a full refund. He refused. I allowed him to continue work on the project on the condition there would be no further (10k) investment upfront, the 10k would come from future sales. I fought hard to motivate Mr. Croak to action to no avail. He was almost impossible to contact and provided me with weak apologies and excuses when i finally got email responses.
This continued for several years. By Dec.2017 i finally preassured Mr.Croak,with complaints to the BBB and Mike Dewine’s Ohio attorney generals office, to refund my investment plus costs in exchange for 90% ownership of my property on the condition he develop and launch my concepts. He is resistant to my attempts at communication and he offers only excuses and apologies for his continued failure to deliver on his obligations. Mr. Croak is threatening me with legal action to keep me from exposing him for the fraudster i believe him to be.

My story isn’t as bad, however, I paid for his review and detailed analysis of my product as advertised on his website. He took my money and never did anything. I called and emailed him for months until he finally wrote back " I like your idea how much money do you have to invest”. I responded my financial situation and he never wrote me back. All I wanted was a thourough report/analysis as I paid for it and I never received it. He never writes or wrote me back. Seems as though he just scams people out of deposits and never follows through. Dodged a huge bullet investing money with him! Sorry he got you and you went the next step with him. It is horrible because god blessed him with money and silly bandz, in the end he still wants more and will do what ever it takes to make more. Best Regards.
