And now I am writing to Rip Off Report: And I quote: To Mr. Robert Kaplan: I am writing in behalf of my friend..my neighbor..Kathleen Sutton. Today is Monday, October 11th, 2010, and I have called your 1-866-975-2867 number... three times today...the last time being at 6:40 p.m., at which time I left a message. Mr. Kaplan: Kathleen Sutton would like her $2,000 back that she paid you back in May of 2010 to fix her roof. Your company's employees have been out to fix the roof for Kathleen Sutton AT LEAST THREE TIMES! I don't understand it. You say you are a roofing contractor, but you can't fix her roof after three tries? I will have to check her records because maybe it may be 4 times that your company has tried to no avail -- to fix the roof. Each time that an employee or "a crew, so to speak" of yours has come out, he or someone in the "CREW" has written his initials "signing off". I recently talked to a guy named "Bruce", who said to me, "You have my word", -- well, I guess your company's "WORD" means nothing. In fact, I initially Talked to Mr. Bruce a week ago. I know that you, Mr. Kaplan, are still with US Foam and Polo...your employee Wendell told me that. So, obviously, your company nor you nor anyone who is advertising in the Sun Sentinel, knows how to fix a roof. Looking at your ad in the Sun-Sentinel a week ago today, you have a full page ad that you must have paid more than $2,000 for...advertising your expertise...and I quote: "Tried, Tested and Proven Cooling Off America one roof at a time..." "Award Winning National Roofing Contractor Polo International, Inc CCC058192 / Since 1984" I know I have quoted this correctly...I am looking at your full page advertisement right now. WHAT JIBBERISH TO PUBLISH IN A NEWSPAPER....HOW DARE YOUR COMPANY DO THAT WHEN YOU CANNOT MAKE ONE PERSON IN POMPANO BEACH SATISFIED! So I guess what I need to do to get some satisfaction for my 79 year old best friend neighbor, who is going to turn 80 in a couple of months....and it is this: I am going to copy this email and then paste it...and then I am going to send it to the appropriate authorities in Broward County to help my dear old friend because she does not deserve this type of treatment from a BIG company as yourself!!!! Just for the record, it is now 7:30 p.m. on October 11th, 2010, and your company has not even had the decency to Kathleen to tell her that they cannot make it tonight. THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE! You could have at least called her. She has been waiting for your company to appear, at least, to fix the problem which SHE PAID YOU FOR AND THAT YOU CASHED THE CHECK FOR AND USED FOR YOUR PURPOSES OTHER THAN HERS. "HALF THE COST OF A NEW ROOF"!!!!!!!!!!!!! I believe there is a law or an act in Florida of Elderly Abuse. I am looking into that forthwith. |
