I have signed on 11/15/07 to do the 3 day training "Learn to be Rich", offfered by "Rich dad education" in L.A., CA on 12/4-5-6/07 and paid $495 for it.
The instructor , David Shamy promised us, as part of the package that I [&all others who sign up] will get the New software/internet package that includes all the various RE legal contracts as well the ability to search properties all over the USA. That was the main reason for my decision to do the course.
While at 3 day course, I discovered, to my surprise and dismay that I have to sign up for an additional course/s costing at least $9-44k [or more] in order to receive that package
When I raised the issue with Alan Swail, the instructor, he told me that this could not have happened. However, when he asked for a show of hands in the room there were at least a dozen other people who raised their hands who received the same promise as I did about the RE software .
The issue was not resolved in the course.
Reading on this site I am realizing the I am not the only vitim of this company.
James, in report #282122 described pretty accurately what has ensued in those 3 days of seminar, which essentialy were just a ruse to get us to sign up for more courses [the "Funnel sysytem"].
Until today I was under the [false] impression that Robert K. does not know what is happening in these seminars-after reading here I reached the conclusion that he must be at least a passive partner if not worse.
I wrote a letter to Mr. Kevin N. Shriner, M. Ed., Director of WIA- but based on the info here I doubt that I'll hear from him.
