This guy claimed he was one of the best forex traders in the world and yet he lost 80% of my account in less than 2 weeks. He uses your account to make his account grow. He trades it under a managed account at Dukascopy out of Switzerland.

He talks about trading for famous people, basketball stars, etc. Last I heard he was in Chicago.

All of the results on the website are fake. Don't believe this guy, you will lose it all. When I google his name it always comes up as a testimonial on some website; supposedly he trains people, I would have nothing to do with him.

Meeting Robert P. Rivera was probably the worst thing that has happened to anyone.  I was in a jam, moved into his completely disgusting home (and this is going back a decade) and tried to help him with disability issues.  The person has clinical depression, a ton of things going on, and I was warned by several neighbors to stay away from him.  He claims that he has a thousand great ideas but he also has an uncanny way of driving people insane just to scam them out of beautiful antiques.  Then he uses other people to sell them on ebay.

The confidence man stuff this man has done in the Edgewater Community is not amusing.  It's really bad behavior and it's also a way that keeps people down.  I don't agree with his practices, with him getting away with it, or anything.  While I was living with him the depression in that house and with me was so sick that I couldn't get better for years.  Being in a situation that awful and not feeling that there is any way out is exactly what identity thieves, scam runners, and other people rely upon.  I am grateful to ripoff report for even existing.  The fact that this case can be up and that I can see he's still doing the same old crap - well, it comforts me not to see that others are being led around by his boohoo crying manipulations, but it makes me feel better to know that I wasn't the only one who lost:

two antique chairs
a chinese foot binder
two beautiful lamps
most of the hope in the world
every job since then in the service industry.

The person in the most trouble here is Robert Rivera.  He hasn't gotten enough therapy for the things he went through as a young person.  He continues the cycle of abuse against others and then spends the money or hangs on to it or something.  Whatever he's done, I cannot forgive him.  I have to put it in god's hands and I also have to be grateful that when I was living in the place that used to be his family home, the haunted house that it was before it became gutted - there was a loving group of women called The Sisters Of The Living Word.  They lived next door and I never knew them until one of them wrote me a check for a tip when I was waiting tables after recovering from the damage and injury and loss.

Some folks forgive, some folks forget.  If you want to call him, you can always dial this incredibly sick telephone number - eight four eight happy.  That's the number he's been answering with his feeble hello on for years.  I hope that someone can pray to god for his forgiveness because I don't have the mercy in my heart left.

Best of luck to the rest of us.  I work as a self-employed writer and I was able to get this off my chest in this forum, which is the right one.

It looks like Robert Rivera is filing updates and rebuttals for himself to make himself look good as if he rectified the problem...tell me this: How do you rectify losing $100,000 or $40,000 for your clients? "I'm sorry, I'll make it up to you if you just add another $50K to your account? Do you go over and mow his lawn for a year?

I'm sorry, but nothing can be done to fix the damage that Robert Rivera has done.

Again, please, please, please have nothing to do with this scam artist you will regret it and kick yourself in the butt for not listening...DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU!!!

Please respond to my email address with your telephone number and I will call you if you want any more information about this criminal.

Cheers,

I am deeply sorry for the losses to the Forex account mentioned. Please understand that I had no intention of deceiving anyone.
I had a string of very heavy losses and basically had a meltdown. The more I tried to recoup the losses the worse it got. I do not trade managed accounts any longer. Please refrain from posting anymore of these treads , the damaged has been done more than you can imagine. I cannot keep up with hundreds of emails received
