This happened in 2009 I was just fresh out of h.s unexperienced with the whole job thing so I heard being a security guard was the next best thing. For over 2 months I saved every little penny I had in order to be able to pay for the training. I was walking in the city one day and came across the national security & placement which then was located on 106 west 28th St 1st FL. I went in and since like I said had no experience they talked and what they said sounded really good to me then, but I thought why are the classes so expensive I ended up taking the 8hr, 16hr, and fire guard, it was a Spanish woman that was helping me she said they will get me jobs, plus the finger prints I ended up paying them 500$ for everything not only dId they not help me getting a job like they said they also did not help with my finger prints. I called and called and never got a dime back which they also said that if I didn't get a job they will refund me 100$. Now a couple of years later I'm trying to become a security so I call them and nowhere to be found, but I go on the Web and find all these crazy coments about this place but it is all true they are a scam STAY AWAY WELL IF U CAN FIND THEM B.C I HEARD THEY MOVE A LOT.

I am no longer with the said company. 7 years later you decided to write a complaint. While I was with the company, I know we always provided the correct services required by New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services which is training by licensed New York state security training providers which involved 24 hours of training, fingerprints and license application. This is the process if you decide to pursue your security guard license.
Unfortunately, I am no longer in the industry. So there is nothing I can do to assist you at the present moment.I can give you a recommendation on where to go for security guard training.
