I signed a $5000.00 Dollar Retainer  to represent my friend for a singal trial. When Robin Scroggie new there was not going to be  no trial. After I realized there was not going to be a trial I asked MR scrooggie for $500.00 back from my $1036.00 deposit.

Because I felt after only 1 visit in the county jail and 1 court hearing $500.00 was apropriate. But he said no and that I owed him the whole $5000.00. I was shocked a few days later a certified letter cam and it said Mr Scroggie would accet $2,500 and dismiss the $5000.00. I fell Mr. Scroggie only deseves $500 for his work.

Sorry this happened to you. Lawyers love to eat deposits. Once they have your money hostage, it is very rare that they ever return even a penny of it. Someone else complained about this guy too years ago! I had the same kind of stuff happen to me. Not all, but most lawyers are money hungry unethical scum.
