Robinsons May ripoff San Diego California
On January 19, 2003 my husband and I went into our local Robinsons May store in Mission Valley to look for furniture for our livingroom. We had talked to the sales person Shirley Lew and picked out the furniture we wanted. She said expected date of arrival was 03/03. On 03/26/03 we were called by delivery and told that our furniture had been damaged in delivery.
Another expected dated was April 24th. We got a call at 6:00pm tonight and again were told that our furniture would not be delivered--this with no explanation. While talking to one of the sales people at Robinsons May (Daren) he informed us that this furniture had been discontinued in February-but that all orders placed before this date would be delivered.
We have been waiting for this furniture for over three months--we have nothing in our house at all to sit on. I called Shirely Lew again tonight and she made up some kind of reasoning--at least for her--that she was unaware of the situation. Now they expect us to call customer service (again) to find out when and if we will ever get this furniture. Is this the way business is suppose to be ran--whatever happened to CUSTOMER SATISFACTION?????????
