Rockaway Bedding Center late delivery and defective merchandise unsatisfactory customer service Brooklyn New York
i am an unsatisfied customer with rockaway bedding located on 8500 4th avenue, brooklyn, ny 11209 because they are not professional at their job. beginning with the representative john samot at the bedding center. he told me that he would put in the delivery date and time into customer service but he did not. when i called customer service at 1(888)762-5292 they informed me that there was no delivery request in the computer. i was told to wait for a call for delivery confirmation on mon 2/27/06 for tue 2/28/06. no one called me. i was told to wait another day for confirmation on tue 2/28/06 for wed 3/1/06.
so far i am still sleeping on the floor. the customer service department is not helpful at all and is very, very, rude. i charged the order of full futon, mattress and cover, delivery and assembly. i kept the mattress and cover with a promise from customer service of working futon to be delivered.
on two separate delivery dates, two defective futons were delivered. i rejected them. i do not feel it is good customer service to make someone wait for late delivery of defective merchandise and still expect to receive payment for delivery and assembly charge when it is the company's repetitive poor customer service.

I am now enjoying my futon. i wrote a letter to customer service regarding their shabby treatment. i am still waiting for a response letter from rockaway bedding customer service.
