jetta stalled out while accelerating.

in december of 2005 i bought a 1995 vw jetta with the wynn's extended warrenty from the rockenbach used car outlet store. when i test drove the jetta it seemed to run and handled just fine. it had 85,000 miles on, so i was not expecting the best, but at lest safe and roadworthy. on january 30th of 2006 at 645am the car broke down.

i was waiting at a light, the car was running smoothly making no odd noises. the light changed to green and the traffic moved. i drove along with the traffic and suddenly, my vw stalled in the middle of the intersection. i tired to restart it and it would not start. 15 minutes later, the ranger police pushed my car off to the side.

first i called wynns warrenty, they stated i was not covered at all, no record of my warrenty, rockenbach did not submit the paperwork. next i called rockenbach, explained my situation. they told me it would be taken care of the same night and the warrenty should be vaild the next day. i had the car towed to a dealership shop.(not rockenbach) they called wynn's warrenty, wynn's told em that they did not recieve the paperwork from rockenbach. i called rockenbach later on that day. my contact person at rockenbach called their wynn's rep the clarify the situation. at the end wynns gave permission to fix the jetta. according to my mechanic wynns only authroized the repair of a ball joint to a cost of 20 dollars minus the 100 deductable. the toal bill according to my machanic was 2,700 including tax.

rockenbach sold me an unsafe car, unroadworthy car. any car that suddenly quits would be unsafe. it did not quit stopped at a light, it broke down while accelerating. i could of been rearedned by a tailgater.(a reason not to follow too closely) second, wynn's is only paying 20 dollars to fix this car.

when you purchase a product/service, you are also buying into their expertise in that field. we all cannot be ase certified mechanics. if i was a mechanic id fix my own car and/or relized that this vw was a bad car. in that case i would perform my own medical procedures since i am certified doctor, but i am neather. so i need trust those who are experts in those fields.
