Complaint Review: Rockford Homes

I, including 2 of my neighbors have had extensive water damage behind their stone veneer due to improper instillation.

Inspectors have found numerous problems with the way Rockford Homes has installed the stone veneer which has led to failure. Water is able to penetrate the stone with no way to dry out.  Water was then trapped between the stone from the outside and drywall from the inside for years.  

With no signs of water intrusion in the home this was left unnoticed for years.  The OSB sheeting rotted out, and even the framing of my home is compromised.  

I was not able to discover the damage until the water leaked into the band joists in the basement.

The damage to my home exceeds $20,000.  

Rockfords web page claims Commitment Highest construction standards.  (Lies, Lies, Lies)

After multiple emails and calls I was finally able to speak to Michael King (Vice President of Operations) 614-431-4005

He was worthless.  Continued to try blaming this failure on me probably not caulking around the window framing well enough.  (That is ridiculous)

The conversation ended with they didn't want to hear from us again, stated that we would just have to sue them.

Rockford knows extreme cost in trying the sue them and I, like my neighbors can't afford to lose lawsuit, and then still have to pay for the repairs.  

STAY AWAY FROM ROCKFORD HOMES!!!
