Rockrimmon West Condominiums used to be a nice, quiet place to live with respectful neighbors and a staff that took residents' concerns seriously...These days, it is far from that - The condo's Board of Directors turned over their responsibilities to a "property management company" about a year ago...This company doesn't care about the tenants and is a prime example of a company that collects a check for minimal effort...Cylinda Walker, the point-of-contact with this company ("Management Advantage"), essentially ignores tenants' concerns, does not return phone calls, and generally acts in a cavalier manner (when you can actually catch her in her office answering the phone).

Not only is the property being managed in a slipshod manner by a lacksadasical organization, whoever maintains and cleans the grounds are negligent in their duties as well...No longer are the halls cleaned on a regular basis...No longer are the common areas kept neat of trash...No longer are rules enforced to keep the grounds clean. Nowadays, the less respectful tenants who have recently moved in now are unfettered in littering the hallways and grounds with debris.

On any given day, you can walk the halls and find dirt, debris, discarded gum wrappers, leaves, and other miscellaneous junk on the floors. The pool is filthy and the temperature of same isn't monitored regularly...I haven't dared swim in it in over 3 months for fear of catching ill. Moreover, large pieces of furniture (to include a discarded washer/dryer set and an old couch) are a common sight obstructing the halls. Complaints to both "Management Advantage" as well as the condo B.O.D. about these obvious violations of the condo covenants have gone unanswered. This should concern anyone who plans to buy / rent a condo there...Not the very least of which is their lack of concern for the safety of tenants - Allowing these large, obstructive items to sit in the halls is a flagrant fire code violation.

Furthermore, the quality of tenants that they allow to move in has steadily gone downhill. Talk about "white trash" - The recent tenants have been observed partying on their balconies at all hours of the night (they apparently have no respect for people that have to get some sleep and work for a living), placing previously said furniture and boxes of trash in the hallway (I guess they are too lazy and/or inconsiderate to dispose of these things properly), moving into their units at midnight (welcome to the neighborhood, right?), throwing their car doors open in the parking lot and dinging adjacent automobiles (no respect for other people's valuables), and generally being discourteous to their fellow neighbors ad naseum...

What was once a nice place to live for me has become a ghetto environment, and someplace I will no longer recommend to anyone considering Rockrimmon West Condos. Forewarned is forearmed.

I want to be clear that my complaints with RRWC is not with the Board itself, but with the property management company - Management Advantage. It seems clear that due to Management Advantage's lack of quality service, the previously mentioned conditions are prevailing...It is my hope that the Board of Directors for the Condo Assn gets rid of this company in an effort to return this community to a nice, quiet and clean place to reside.
