Hernan Rodriguez Venegaz of Rod Global Enterprises Ltd., a Mexican Canadian living in British Columbia, Canada had been advertising beachfront property in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico since 2007 through his companies, www.mexicanestates.com,www.santaclarabeach.com. Partners in this venture:Eduardo Rios Novelos, Edgar Jose Ordonez Guerrero. He appears to have several other business as well under this banner including www.trabajacanada.com, escuelascanada.com, www.goodcarnojoke.com, www.mexprofit.com, www.diamantexchange.com and a number of other ventures.

They gave a number of presentations at the new Deerfoot Casino. In Attendance were his marketing team, partners as well as Hernan Rodriguez Venegaz himself. Attendees were encouraged to visit the area and make a deposit if interested. The development in Santa Clara included 3 models, the Brigantine, Clipper and the Sloop and an apartment complex, located in Santa Clara Beach, Yucatan, Mexico. The website for these were located at www.mexicanestates.com and www.santaclarabeach.com. They were also selling Los Bucaneeros properties near Cancun.

A trip was made to the area, and Los Bucaneeros in Puerto Morelos, Yucatan (a development by the Rios Family) was first viewed.

A partially developed property of the Clipper was viewed in Santa Clara Beach in the spring or 2007 (concrete walls only), they claimed to be completing a showhome in the spring of that year as well. This has never been completed. No updates and information were ever forwarded to us although requested several times through the marketing team.

After much pressure by them and many phone calls, a deposit was made to Impulsora de la Riviera SA de CV in the spring of 2007 located in Merida,Yucatan. Hernan Rodriguez Venegaz of Rod Global Enterprises Ltd., Delata, British Columbia, Canada is listed as the developer. Signed documents were supposed to be sent and were promised to be sent as per discussions with the marketing team, however these were never ever sent. As per marketing team, The deposit was to be held in escrow and if something were to go wrong, the deposit would be refunded.

We waited to hear from them up until end of last year and into the beginning of 2008 we still did not hear from them or the marketing team whom they calim was fired. It is only common decency to return calls and provide info as and when requested- that did not ahppen. Many calls were made to them and replies by Edgar Ordonez and Hernan Rodriguez were made only after several months in between had past. In the interim we requested our money back and were told different stories which did not fit with what we heard from realtors in the area. Egdar Jose Ordonez Guerrero and Hernan Rodriguez Venegaz continually lied for the whole time of correspondence.

In short by the end of December 2008 all phone numbers and websites were disconnected and taken down. Their main toll free number was being answered by a Jennifer who claim she knew nothing. They were also contacted by an international real estate company that has a substantial list of buyers and they did not even reply to them. They claim that it is no problem to sell the unit, but how can they sell anything when they are promoting nothing?

Unprofessional to say the least and put it mildly, inexperienced developers, liars and thieves and cowards, although continual reassurance was made by their marketing team they were from good families and experienced developers from the beginning. It is disgusting to steal the money of hardworking and innocent people. They should put themselves in their clients shoes before they do that to any individual or family.

What has happened to the deposits of investors in escrow? Sources have said funds have been stolen by the signing officers which does not surprise given the fact that no evidence of development is taking place.

I would anticipate that if they have a decent bone in their body they will return the monies owning to investors!!

They were also selling Residencial Bucaneros, Quintana Roo properties near Cancun, Riviera Maya.

A trip was made to the area, and to Residencial Bucaneros in Puerto Morelos, Yucatan (a development by the Eduardo Rios Novelo family) was first viewed. A partially developed property of the Clipper was viewed in Santa Clara Beach in the spring or 2007 (concrete walls only), they claimed to be completing a showhome in the spring of that year as well. This has never been completed. No updates and information were ever forwarded to us although requested several times through the marketing team.

After much pressure by them and many phone calls, a deposit in excess of 5 figures was made to Impulsora de la Riviera SA de CV in the spring of 2007 located in Merida,Yucatan. Hernan D. Rodriguez Venegaz of Rod Global Enterprises Ltd., Delta, British Columbia, Canada is listed as the developer. Signed documents by them were supposed to be sent and were promised to be sent as per discussions with the marketing team, however these were never ever sent. As per marketing team, the deposit was to be held in escrow and if something were to go wrong, the deposit would be refunded.

We waited to hear from Mexican Estates up until end of 2007 and into the beginning of 2008 we still did not hear from them or the marketing team whom they claim was fired. It is only common decency to return calls and provide info as and when requested- that did not happen. Many calls were made to them and replies by Edgar Ordonez and Hernan Rodriguez were made only after several months in between had past. In the interim we requested our money back and were told different stories which did not fit with what we heard from realtors in the area and in Canada. Egdar Jose Ordonez Guerrero and Hernan Rodriguez Venegaz continually lied for the whole time of correspondence.

In short by the end of December 2008 all Mexican Estates phone numbers and websites were disconnected and not operational. Their main toll free number was being answered by a Jennifer who claimed she knew nothing. They were also contacted by an international real estate company that has a substantial list of buyers and they did not even reply to them. Mexican Estates claimed that it is no problem to sell the unit, but how can they sell anything when they are promoting nothing?

What has happened to the deposits of investors in escrow that was supposed to be safe? Sources have said funds in excess of 6 figures have been taken by the signing officers which does not surprise given the fact that no evidence of further development is taking place.

Hernan Rodriguez Venegaz is spreading his business wings, wonder how he gets his money to do all his new ventures?

It is anticipated that if these people have a decent bone in their body they will return the monies owning to investors, they know who they are!! You always hear about Mexican corruption, this appears to be a continuation of that!

Please return the money!
