Rodney is a Deadbeat Dad. He has not contacted his child or sent her any gifts in a year. He has not supported her financially most of her life and did not even contribute to prenatal expenses though he claims to be a great Father and to want kids desperately.

Rodney prefers to spend his money on drinking beer at Flat Branch, Quinton's, Shakespeare's and other establishments in Columbia, MO. He likes to have young girlfriends, from 19-25 though he is almost 40, so that he can talk down to them and control most every aspect of the relationship.
