I do have to mention that while I was typing up this complaint on this merchant, Tim the owner of the company has emailed me for the first time to assist me with my refund process.  I am just submitting this file as a record for others to view.  I will update this complaint as resolve or not resolve in a few weeks.

I have purchased a 6 months package from Clear Skin Max on 4-10-11 in the amount of $305.48.  I tried out the product for a month and did not really see much improvement on my skin.  I was concerned and contacted your 800-493-0268 in May to double check if your 180 days risk free trial money back guarantee is true so I can have piece of mind to try out the product for a longer period of time . 

I was advised by your representative "Yes, just try it out for 180 days and if I am not satisfied I can request for a full refund with no questions ask."  I recently requested to get a full refund since I tried out this product and it did not benefit me and my free trial period is almost up.  I have sent your company numerous emails at least 10 emails since 10/02/2011 to see how the refund process work, but no replies.  I was worried so on 10/09/2011 I have requested for the refund before my 6 months time period is up.

I have several concerns with the service being provided by your company.  It has been over two weeks and still no response from anyone in your company.  On 10/18/2011, I called the 1-800-493-0268 number and it rang a few times and then got disconnected.  I immediately emailed your company again and requested this matter to be escalated to someone in your management team to get back to me due to my concerns and frustration that i am seeing with all the reviews and
what has taken place.  However still no responses.  The next day, I noticed your company has removed the 800 sales number via the website and have changed your money back guarantee to only 30 days.  I hope I am not being scammed by your company

I have emailed Tim, the owner of this company.  He advised me to return the products and mail back to him for a full refund.  I did not realize how complicated this process could be to get my return, if I had known that I had to return the items and have it transported by airplane oversea I would not have purchase the items.  I went to the USPS post office and I was advised that there is astringent and mask which is all flammable items what would be thrown away at the airport.  They cannot ship it back to the merchant since the company is located over sea in Netherlands.  Also she mentioned that if she can even put my order through it would cost me at least 150 dollars to return my 6 months 3 boxes back to the merchant.  Or they can fly it for less without a tracking number and which they do not guarantee that it will pass the airport inspection gate.  The only recommendation that the US post office had for me was to use Fedex or UPS because they have their own private airplanes.  I checked with UPS and Fed ex, they were both over $200 to return the products.  I am upset and have great concerns at this time.  Before I purchased the items, on the website there was nothing stating about their return policy that I have to return the products.  My cost for the full six months came out to be around $305.00, as you can see just for me to return the items and get my money back does not make sense since I would lose most of my money.  I have been negotiating with Tim, owner of the company and have emailed him several times to even say to him that I am willing to take a $25 or $50 lost on my full refund since I cannot ship his products back to him.  or I will mail it by USPS with no tracking and as long as I can show him proof that I did mail it. He would guarantee me that I will get my full refund no matter what happens to the products.  It has been close to 3 weeks since I have last heard back from him.  Till further notice, please do not buy any clearskinmax.  Also I noticed again they have removed their 180 days guarantee notice to only 30 days.  To me this product may work for some people, however their customer service which they claim on their website to be excellent and risk worry free money back guarantee is a joke.
