Roger A. Knauer (AKA Allen Knauer, Allen Longstreet), is the owner of the tradeshow model company "Statement Models", (also goes by other names "Indy Models", "1st Place Models".) I have yet to be paid over a thousand dollars for work that was completed six months ago. Before taking a job through statement models I was assured that checks were mailed 30 days after the completion of a job. He will not answer the "agency phone" or respond to emails. When I called from an outside number he hung up as soon as he recognized my voice. From my dealings with him, I've noticed that he poses as an agency with employees when in fact, it is just one man speaking in first person plural. I personally have a list of 17 models who have been taken advantage of by this man. Do not add yourself to the list.

I agree with the person that filed this report- he scams models and the comment by 'Jessica' must be him or someone else that he contracted to post.

Beaware of this nationwide scam. Always research a company before you decide to work for them. You never know what Roger will change his company name to next! He is unethical and makes a living by taking the hard earned money of other people!

I Am Getting Paid Just Fine

I think anyone posting this type of complaint should write about their experience only and not try to make it out that everyone isn't being paid.  I have been paid by this agency many times and those who I have worked with for years are also getting paid.  It can take a while to get paid but that's the same with all of the agencies.  I have personally worked over 30 jobs for this agency and have been paid every time.

There are a lot of reasons why someone might not be paid, or get a deduction, and most of them have to do with your own conduct.
