ROKU Terrible Customer Service Saratoga California
I bought the Roku XDS player and paid for FedEx 2nd Day Shipping, which the Customer Service person said would deliver on a Saturday. Immediately after clicking the "ORDER" box the next window that pops up is a window that explains Shipping methods. In that explanation is the fact that FedEx does not deliver on Saturdays.
From time of order to time of delivering was 3 business days. When I contacted Customer Support I was told to email my complaint. A short time later I was informed that my request for a refund for the difference between the 2nd Day Shipping and Regular Shipping is DENIED. Because the shipping instructions explain that "FedEx does not deliver on Saturday." Subsequent to that, I explained that their Customer Service person told me that FedEx would deliver on Saturday. Plus that it was more than 2 Business Days. Still denied.
Then in setting up the unit, when I had questions regarding the "setup modem id number." Again I was instructed to write an email and I would be helped. It seems that ROKU'S Customer Service is not located at the California address.
