On March 5, 2017 we were shopping for a car, we seen the craigslist post for a "2009" Infiniti G37 it stated the car had 68,XXX miles only needed repainting, a bumper, and a taillight, the engine and transmission were "completely fine" that seemed like a great deal so we contacted the salesman by the name of Roland. First he said the office was closed because it was Sunday but he would go over and handle the transaction because we'd be tied up in the week and wouldn't get it before his other potential buyer. Then we purchased the "2009 Infiniti G37" as is, we initially had the intention of purchasing the car and fixing it on our own when we seen the post because we are buying it at a wholesale price, as is, and repairs were minimal.

After we told him we'd handle repairs he went on to say that he could do it and since his dealer has a registered mechanic he can get the parts at a cheaper price. We figured why not were buying the car from him why not just have them fix it there, he told us he had two cars to finish first one was a purple Kia Optima and the other was a 2011 model looking Black Dodge Charger after they would start on our car which would be the by the end of the week Friday March 10th and we could expect the car by the following Friday March 17th. I contacted him Thursday March 16th to check on the status of the car since it was supposed to be done the next day he said "Waiting to receive the starter button module from our programmer so we can start. If you want to start the cosmetic repairs first, I can.

I just wanted to focus on the mechanics first." That issue was never stated before and he never reached out before to us let us know. We then gave him more time to solve this issue that he proposed to us. The following weeks to come he would continue to give us the run around making statements about the vehicle that weren't clear to us. We even asked mr Roland to send us the vin number of the vehicle which he refused. He said that he would send it in a text message we made it clear to him that it was important for us to have it however he did not send it to us. We finally made scene of the vin number that he had wrote on the receipt that he had given us on March 5th 2017 the day of the purchase. We proceeded to look over car fax reports on the vehicle. The miles on the reports ranged from 122,000 miles to 155,000 , the post stated that the vehicle only had 68,000 miles on it Mr. Roland stated this too. The car is listed as a total loss/salvage on the report as well.

Since he specifically misrepresented the vehicle milage to you (by a lot), it sounds like fraud.  Sue him. Get your money back.
