Rollabind SJ Creative LLC Another Rollabind Ripoff: Let's Join Forces to Fight Back Pompano Beach, Florida
Like many others who have reported to this site, I placed an order with Rollabind and, when I did not receive the merchandise in a timely fashion, requested a refund and have yet to hear from them after numerous attempts and requests. (I had specified on the order that if they could not send me the merchandise by a specific date nearly a month later, I could not use it and they should cancel the order and refund my money.) The payment went through PayPal, billed to SJ Creative LLC. They are located at 2300 W. Sample Rd., Suite 202, Pompano Beach, FL 33073. When I looked up SJ Creative LLC, I discovered this information:
The officers include Jack Feldman. Sj Creative Group, LLC was incorporated on Sunday, August 15, 2004 in the State of FL and is currently not active. Michael G Chandross CPA PA represents Sj Creative Group, LLC as their registered agent.
When I did a search for Chandross, the above address turned up. But he is also listed as:
Lerro & Chandross PLLC - Michael G Chandross CPA
50 SW 2nd Ave, Ste 201, Boca Raton, FL 33432
(561) 747-9361
If you Google the Florida Attorney General's Office and click on "Consumer Protection" you will be directed to a page where you can file a complaint. I suggest that everyone do this. Maybe if we all complain loudly enough, someone will look into this criminal fraud.

Dear TakeActionAgainstRipOffs,
I am in the middle of going through the wonderful consumer practices of Rollabind. (I just posted a ripoffreport of my own about them - you can see it here: http://www.ripoffreport.com/office-suppliers-stationers/rollabind/rollabind-sj-creative-take-you-80ab0.htm)
I was looking at your report with all the helpful information that you included. Thank you for posting all that information by the way! I have already contacted numerous places (BBB, American Express, PayPal - all of which stated they have received many complaints) I am going to contact other offices, like ones you have listed here, but I was wondering if any new information has come up since your previous posting?
You couldn't be more right in stating, " Maybe if we all complain loudly enough, someone will look into this criminal fraud." That's why I was curious to know if anything has stemmed from this...
Thank you in advance, and hope things have worked out for you!

More Runaround from Rollabind

Last week I filed a "disputed claim" with PayPal in addition to contacting the Florida Attorney General's office. I received a phone call on Friday 3/11/2011 from a man who identified himself as Jack Feldman. He said I would receive a refund to my PayPal account by Monday or Tuesday. I held out little hope that this was true, and I have not heard anything nor have I received the refund. I have emailed jfeldman@rollabind.com once again.
In the meantime, here is some valuable information sent to me by the Attorney General's office:
Our office reviews complaints to develop information about patterns of
questionable business activities. If we discover a pattern, what
originated as a private dispute between buyer and seller may become a
matter of broad public interest and thus warrant the Attorney General's
intervention under the state's consumer protection laws. We will keep
your correspondence for future reference. Please note that our office
does not mediate individual consumer complaints.
If you wish to recover the payment you made, you should file a dispute
with PayPal directly. The following link to PayPal's website provides
information on their Dispute Resolution program:

I also encourage you to contact the Florida Department of Agriculture and
Consumer Services, Division of Consumer Services (DACS) to file a
complaint. The DACS serves as the state clearinghouse for consumer
complaints and has a voluntary mediation program to assist individual
consumers. You may contact DACS at:

you may be eligible for low cost or pro bono assistance through a local

I placed an order for $221.20 with this company and stipulated that if it
was
not possible to ship the merchandise to me by a specific date, they should
cancel the order and refund my money. I never heard back from them, but
PayPal
processed the credit card charge in the amount of $221.20 to Sj Creative
LLC..
I have made numerous attempts to contact Rollabind by email and telephone
(1-561-208-1421) but they have only a voicemail recording and never call
back.
I have since discovered that there are numerous, similar complaints about
this
company on www.ripoffreport.com
