I was put on a payment plan at Romanos Jewelers for a so called 14K white gold w/ 1.5 carats of diamonds wedding ring for $7,800 but on sale for $4,800 and I gave my previous wedding ring as a $1,500 deposit. About 6 months later my diamond fell out, I took it back and they replaced it while there they talked me into adding a so called 14K gold AquaMasters watch to the bill since I was almost done paying for the ring. The watch was $934 but the sales woman Maryana Bajali gave me the "employee discount" which made it $664. Since the diamond fell out once I got it back I took it and the watch to be appraised boy was I surprised!

The ring was only 1 carat diamond that were all flawed and poorly designed and will always lose diamonds, the watch was only worth $10.00 and was gol plateted stainless steel. Boy I'm I pissed, I took them back and spoke with Maryana Bajali again and she says, well we have no refunds but you have a lifetime warranty on them both. I told her that i do not want a ring that will always have problems and a watch that is only worth $10 even though I am being charged $664 plus interest. I stop making paymenyts as of Dec 2013, i refuse to make another payment I have already paid $4000 for junk.

I filed a compliant with the Better Business Bureau, the L.A. District Attorney's Office, and the Dept of Consumer Affairs. Even if nothing is done I refuse to be played for a sucka any further and furthermore I think the D.A.'s office should be made aware of this scam going on at Romanos Jewelers and MBNB Financial. They are in on it together MBNB finances the worthless jewelry just to get you caught up in their credit scams. I hope the DA's office files a class suit againts these crooks, how terrible when America is struggling financially and they are scamming people like this.

Hello. I just checked my credit score and apparently I owe them 2500 for god knows what. I also bought a ring and neclace from them and a few times the diamonds have fallen out. I am going to get the checked tomorrow after reading your post, and they also "threw" in a $900 aqua master watch. Wondering how everything turned out and how I should go about this. Please comment back, thank you.

I forgot to mention in the original report that after I stopped answering MBNB financial phone calls because I refuse to pay another dime for junk, they started calling my family asking about where I was and have they heard from me, and how to reach me. This has got to be a joke, I have never heard of a company doing this they normally call the customer they are dealing with only. BEWARE THIS IS A PREDATORY COMPANY THEY ARE ONLY THERE TO SCAM YOU, NOT HELP YOU GET GOOD ARE EVEN REAL JEWELRY!
