Complaint Review: Ron Blackwell Ford/Jim Allen

Ron Blackwell Ford - Jim Allen ripoff. While on their lot, my CD player, and Tools set was stolen from my car. He refuses to do anything about it. Bentonville Arkansas

On 9/29/03 my car, 1995 Ford Probe GT, was hit by a man that was test driving a truck from Ron Blackwell Ford in Bentonville Ark. They told me to bring my car to them to fix. My car set on the lot for almost 3 weeks before it was repaired.

When I went to pick it up, the job that was done was unacceptable. There was a blob (large)of grease on the back windsheild, which had been smeared from the wipers. Also grease was on the carpets in the front. The door that was replaced, you could see blue paint on it,my car is black. The molding to the door did not fit it. It stuck up from the door at least a quarter of an inch.

While my car was sitting on the Ford lot waiting to be repaired, the CD stereo system, and tools set was stolen out of my car. The cover to the dome light was busted.
Jim Allen, General Manager, was very disrespectful and unprofessional. He refused to either replace or reimburse me for the items stolen and broken. All car lots carry Garage Keepers Insurance for that purpose, but he refused to file it with his insurance company.
