The vehicle which is a 2013 Cadillac CTS being advertised for $19,988 . I have the proof showing the vin number and picture. The sale rep For that dealership seemed honestly and everything but behind it all was a mistake . He is actually was my friend but not after this i can't trust him not after this. The monthly payments where being determined it came down to $453 a month in the end with the financing officer offering all these other add on . I don't know how they did it but I was Financed it was a scam I could only use $500 in credit card and $2000 in cash. Which I had to come another day but they would hold on my paperwork until my deposit was completed. I finally got my paperwork and no where near did it even show the advertisement online . The numbers where definitely changed on me im very surprised that I was approved and also for the amount of $36,000

Let us look at this scenario.  You were sitting in the office with the F and I guy who was drawing up the CONTRACT paperwork.  The CONTRACT is a legal document which binds you and them to certain terms and conditions with the #1 set of terms and conditions is how much are YOU obligated to pay and what exactly are YOU paying for.  This is a long term contract which BINDS YOU to those terms for several years.  So what happens?  You sign the CONTRACT then later AFTER you sign it, YOU come here acting surprised at what YOU agreed to!  Tell me something.  Do you think the COMMON SENSE approach would be to READ what you were signing BEFORE you signed it so YOU would know what in the hell you are agreeing to?

Did the rip you off with possible false advertising?  Maybe.  However...YOU went perfectly along with it by NOT reading the contract which by any stretch of the imagination is just plain stupid!

POSSIBLE RIPOFF HERE -- Complainer FAILED to use basic common sense by reading contract in advance of agreeing to said contract thus enabling possible ripoff.

Did you read the contract?

Your type of experience is why most of us don't like the F&I guy in the finance office of any auto dealership.  However, didn't you read the contract before you signed it?  The finance guy gets an extra commission on every single add-on.  You can cancel two of those (at least two) if you have already signed:  the warranty and the gap insurance. The most expensive place to buy a vehicle warranty and gap is through the dealer.  Cancel both of those immediately and have the credit applied to your loan - or get a check and apply to your auto loan yourself. Check the add-on's to see what else you can cancel and receive a credit.  Once you have all the credits applied, then refi your vehicle. I bet your interest rate is higher than a rate you can get through a credit union.

If you do all of this, you ought to be able to save thousands, but you have to move fast. Do it now.  Next time, don't sign anything without reading and understanding it - before you sign.
