Complaint Review: Ron Dale Massey

I am a small Business Owner, who was hired by Ron Dale Massey  to do a sand and finish job at a Mall for a well-known company.

Mr. Massey had an ad on craigslist. I met with him on a Sunday and started the job on Tuesday night.

Mr Massey sent me a contract of sorts stating what work I would do and my payment for labor and materials.

I worked for four nights. Hired someone to work with me for two nights. Bought product on my credit card. 

When done I asked for my payment and he stated he had not been paid. So after a few weeks and investigative work discovered he had actually been paid before I even finished the job.

He still states up to now he was not paid, even after I said I had proof he was paid.

He owes me 2500 dollars. 

In my investigative work discovered one address he gave was a mailbox at a UPS store in a strip mall. 

His website for work is still up and running.

Part of his family owns a painting company.

In my investigative work I found this website and put in his name and there he was. A report from Middleburg, Florida so he has a history of this.

I also discovered in my investigation I could not find a business license or a corporation.
