Complaint Review: Ron Harrod DBA Harrod Contractors

I hired Ron Harrod in October, 2001 to construct an addition to my house in Goshen, KY. He was recommended by a neighbor who didn't know of his troubled past. He did a great job of follow up before the project started. Even once it started, he was careful about the money. But he swindled me like the con artist that he is. Once he was given a large advance, he didn't pay the sub contractors and I had to finish the project and pay twice for the work to be performed. He even bragged that he bought a Mercedes with my construction money when I cornered him. The Oldham Prosecutors office has the case since he was indicted by a Grand Jury. Harrod is a convicted felon and has a long list of problems with the law that I didn't know about when I hired him.
