Bought a 7 year old solid black paint. Had him for three weeks, sent him to a trainer and he came up lame. Brought him home to let him rest, got better w/bute but then came up lame both front legs, a week later after he was put out to pasture.

Took him to the Vet he blocked one front leg and then the other, took X-rays of both front feet. He has degenerative Navicular disease in both front feet. The right front foot is so severe the bone is scalloped.

Left several messaages, didn't return my phone calls. Finally talked to him, and he refused to return any of my money, stating that in Montana horses are as-is. He offered to haul him down to Billings so I could sell him and make him somebody else's problem. He doesn't care about the horses, he buys and sells, and they are a commodity.

The damage was so severe in a 7 year old horse, the best thing to do for him, to save him from a lifetime of pain was to put him down.

Don't buy a horse from this man, you will regret it.

False reporting and bad mouthing

I sold a horse to Michelle Ard.  Before she purchased this horse I hauled it to 3 different Vets. She paid for prepurchase examinations done by these Vets.  I hauled the horse for her because she did not own horse trailer.   She did not pay me one cent for hauling this horse.  She had a coggins and health done on this horse also.  She did not pay me for this horse until all vets said horse was sound and coggins came back negative.

After vets prepurchase exams were completed,  Ms. Ard was told and she signed  "Sold as is no warranties"  on this horse agreement.  This "as is no warranty" statement she signed told Ms. Ard that nothing that happened to this horse in future or the past would be covered.  If she purchased the horse it was at her risk and she had her vets check it out and she rode it and could find nothing wrong.  No refunds would be given on this horse now or in future.

She kept this horse at my stable until boarding at the air force base became available.  At no time did this horse take a lame step  at my stable.

I delivered this horse out to the base.  The horse was sound at this time.  After quaranteen, she turned horse out with several other horses.  One of these horses kicked her horse in the chest and shoulder.  She took it to a vet and the vet confirmed this to her.  She didn't like what this vet said and took it to another vet and he told her that vanicular could develope at any time from a severe injury or it could have been undetected by previous vet inspections.

She called me up and threatened to bad mouth me on internet and to anyone who would listen if I did not refund her money.  I reminded her that she signed an "as is no warranty"  on this horse and it wasn't my falt horse got kicked 3 or 4 months after she purchased it from me.  I offered to haul it free of charge to Billings Livestock so she could get some money back, so it would not be a total loss.   It sure was not my fault her horse got kicked.  She didn't tell the rest of the story in her report.  She kept her promise by bad mouthing me.

I would like to contact the author of the report, Michelle from Great Falls.

I also have an issue with a paint horse purchased from Ron Lipke and Painted Horse Stables and would like to know more about her experience. The horse was not at all what he represented it to be. I live on a ranch outside of Ulm.

Michelle, please contact me at (((Redacted)))

Thank you.
