Ron Martinelli Knowingly sold a defective kerosene heater. Obviously, won't even answer his phone anymore. Cool California
Ron Martinelli posted an ad on craigslist, selling DynaPro Glo kerosene heater for $200. He claimed it is barely used, in a very good condition. We bought the heater on 09/05/2014. Same day we tried to use it at work, but had a very hard time to turn it on. Then, after working a while, it would just stop. We called Ron several times, but he did not answer his phone. On 09/08/2014 the heater stopped working completely, it will not even turn on. We called Ron again, he answered this time, but told us that the heater was working when he sold it, so he will not refund us.
It was a ripoff, he knew the heater was broken, but still sold it.

The heater that was sold on CL in question was purchased and used once in November of 2013 for a floor installation job. With no need to keep the item, I decided to post it on CL. I have bought and sold many items on CL before. I recorded a video of the heater in the morning that I sold it, as to give the buyer an idea of its working condition. The client saw the video of the item, inspected the item, and then purchased the item. I did not refuse any phone calls, but in my line of work, have no time for phone interruptions throughout the day. Upon getting texts, I responded promptly to the accusations and professionally. While feeling bad about what happened with the heater, I stand on the fact that it was used, never used in such hot conditions, came with no warranty, and was sold as-is. I am not so stupid as to try and scam someone with a faulty product, while responding with emails and texts with all of my business information included.
