Ronald Downey—Doctor, Healer or Con Man?

 
Ronald Downey represented himself as a Doctor and healer and took advantage financially. I know of others who had the same experience with Dr. Downey.

Ronald Downey has started companies or programs with names such as: Christ Ascension Trust,  Health Ascension, Force of Healing, Tree of Life and The One Breath.

I did research and found this document on Ronald Downey, which I pasted below. I verified the information before posting.

 
Ronald Allen Downey (DOB: Dec. 20, 1958)

 

Ronald Downey often claims to be a doctor but has no accredited MD or PhD. The highest degree we were able to find for Ronald Downey is a high school diploma.

 
Ronald Downey does have a paper “PhD” in a field he refers to as “Doctor of Divinity.” A search found that the "Doctor of Divinity" Ronald Downey obtained is a certificate that can be purchased online for $29.  http://www.ulc.net/index.php?page=shop&cat=17


Ronald Downey has been sued many times and arrested more than once. A background check revealed Downey has been a defendant more than 40 times the last 15 years.

 
Ronald Downey was charged with "Felony Scheme to Defraud" in 1996 by The State of Alaska. Case # 3AN-96-01170CR.

Ronald Downey was arrested in Missouri on October 3, 2007. He was charged with Animal Abuse. Case # 07H6-CR01145.
