I've also been charged $29.99 by this company. I immediately contacted my bank and requested an immediate reversal of all charges due to unauthorized transaction and requested full assistance according to federal regulation E (thanks to editor here on a different topic) and also requested a stop payment/declination for any future attempt of any charges from such company.

Since my reaction was swift as of the first day, the bank took quick action and put a stop payment and opened an investigation of the company and the transaction. The charges were also reversed within 5 business days.

My opinion on the matter is on guard ID 2ndcredita or whatever the company is does not have a direct involvement, but this looks more like some affiliate job. It is more likely some very hidden fine print on some web site or some application which activates such order from this company upon clicking on "submit" button or "i accept" section or something in that line..

However, the company's attitude is also equally startling. When I first saw the charges among transactions that morning, I immediately called the company first dialing 8772161309 next to the company name listed in the transaction ID, to find out who these people are and why they are charging my account $29.99, since I had no such recollection of any business with them.

Some girl with a thick asian accent answered the phone but she would NOT answer any questions regarding the name of the company or nature of their business. Instead, she insisted on asking for further personal information like my social security number. I raised my voice and told her her company is involved in unauthorized fraudulent charges of my account and she asked me to hold on a minute, putting me on hold. 2 minutes later she came back and said her supervisor is not around and started reading my some crap from her pitch sheet again for she was declining all my efforts in identifying the company.

Of course I immediately reported to the bank with my requests I have posted above and also described the situation with their customer service.

Something very similar happened with another company called Low Pay Inc. within the same week for $79 charges in my account due to some membership activation fees.. I did the same, and they are also reversed. I also called that company and they apologized and cancelled any such account immediately for fraud. I also told them to check on whether any affiliate was paid for signing me up and sneak up on that affiliate's sites to see what methods the affiliate is using. I didn't follow criminal pursuit since the charges were reversed very quickly.

If any such things happen with you, contact your bank immediately. Have your bank reverse any such charges and make sure you put a stop payment for any future charges from such companies and don't be afraid to follow suit if necessary. It's your money.
