I rented a house in Johnston RI from Joe Cassiere 7 years ago. In Jan 2020 I had a pipe break in the living room. This was the second time it had happened there. He never called the insurance company or fixed the broken pipe. My belongings sat in cold water, getting moldy. After many attempts to get him to fix the leak. Heat etc. I had to go to code enforcement. I put my rent into escrow until he made the proper repairs, that never happened. In April 2020 at the beginning of the Covid 19 pandemic my brother past away. I put in on Facebook.
The moment I left the state my neighbor said he was in my house for hours with tools. I had to leave Florida to drive as fast as I could to get home. It took me two days after he called and told me "he would have me arrested if I went back into the house as I had abandoned it". I got back into the house took him to court. I got a restraining order against him. After I got home I noticed he bolted all my windows shut with 4 screws each, ripped out the electrical panel and drilled my locks to break in. Why would I bolt myself out if i abandoned my house.
Im so lucky I got in and got my stuff back. He also owns Ronzio pizza in Woonsocket and my son and I have personally seen him pick food up off the ground and put it in the pizza. Buyer beware dont rent from him or order food. He is a rotten person to the core.
