We bought a dining room suit from Room Store in Raleigh. We were told that it had to be picked up in Durham due to the space they had in their storage area. We were ok with that with the deal that we were getting. Had to wait to Friday to get it and this was Sunday.

We get the furniture on Friday and put it together ourselves. One of the chairs was a mess. On the seat part the piece had been split and glued back together and saw dust covered it so we wouldnt notice. The chair when put together was rocking and lopsided. Did not have time to take it back Saturday so we went Sunday to be told we had to take it back to Durham (30 miles away).

I told them I didnt want to go back to Durham for one chair and could they just get it to the Raleigh store. I was told again that I picked it up from Durham had to deal with them. I told the girl I bought it from Raleigh but she again told me it was policy. I asked to speak with the manager.

When he comes out he could be less than bothered with me. I was told the same thing from him. I asked about getting one from the display and he said no. Again the consumer is inconvenienced because of their poor workmanship. The chair was a piece of crap. I just couldnt understand why when the truck come to them they couldnt just throw it on and bring it. Its a small chair. Save yourself some time and aggravation and buy somewhere else. These people at Room Store do not care once you are out the door.
