Complaint Review: Rooms To Go

I have had many problems with Rooms To Go and have just given up.

I purchased a living room suite from them a couple years ago in Georgia and then moved to Florida. Because I moved they said they had to transfer my account. In doing this they double billed us for the furniture. After several hours and days I was able to get this solved.

First I called Georgia and they said I had to call Florida and vice versa. (And as you know it takes quite a while to get through).

My major complaint is with the stain guard warranty. I purchased this because I had two kids. I tried several times to get them to come out, and when they did they said I had to get it professionally cleaned then they could come out (I was like "what?" what is the point of the agreement. The agreement states they will have it professionally cleaned for you.

I ended up getting it professionally cleaned and was told there was no stain guard on the sofa in the first place. Now because of all of this my sofa is in pretty bad shape and I had to purchase slip covers to cover up the fabric.

I will never purchase from this company again, because of it's poor service and dishonest agreements.
