I canceled my premium membership after 14 days. When I was charged an additional 29.95 I told my bank that I did not remember authorizing that transaction. I used the service again, and then willing paid for the 30 days.

A week ago, I get this email threatening to take me to collections, even though I have shown to be a repeat customer. I responded, wanting a phone number to talk with someone.

The next email was just a note saying that I have been put into collections.

Avoid this service. Roommates.com is much much better. With people who will actually give you a phone number to reach someone if you have a problem.

The Ceo contacted me through email. We were able to figure this situation out properly.

It was just a misunderstanding that was solved when things were talked out.

It seems that they are really improving their customer service.

Firstly. The name of this person is Jasen **** (((email redacted))) he has been using our service since 12/16/2007 10:52:09 PM. Just recently we received a chargeback from our credit card processor from Jasen ****, He was disputing the subscription fee made on 1/24/2008 8:00:05 PM even though he agreed to it TWICE. He never contacted us, never gave us the opportunity to credit his account or respond in any way!

What was so shocking was that he created another subscription on 5/28/2008 7:21:54 PM!!!!! If we are such a terrible service why would he use us again?? Its interesting how he doesn't use his real name or tell the truth. We are a very good service and over the last 4 1/2 years in business we have had very few complaints based on the millions of people who use the site.

Jasen **** (((email redacted))) is a terrible customer and person, who uses forums like this to distort the truth and tell only one side. Below is the true chronological order of his usage. You decide.
