Complaint Review: Roomstore HRS

1. Roomstore teamed with HSBC credit are 2 of the worst places in my entire life I have EVER dealt with.  They have deceptive practices and incompetent people working for them.  On the website it stated no payments or finance charges until 2010.  When I got into the store they said there was nothing stating that information.  That is the reason I applied for the credit card online. 

2. When purchasing furniture the incompetent salespeople did not mark down all of the information which I was unaware of until my furniture was delivered.  The Roomstore called me the day before delivery to confirm.  I stayed home for that period of time from work when they never failed to show up therefore I called and they said your delivery is not today.  They even called the day before to confirm with me so not sure again how this got messed up.  When they finally decided to deliver the furniture some of my items were missing. When they left I noticed some of furniture was also damaged and it was supposed to be brand new unless they are a consignment shop that I was unaware of.  I had to argue with them to fix the problem.  It was a nightmare and I spent over $4000 on furniture yet was treated HORRIBLE. 

3. I reviewed my credit report and noticed I had negative information from the Roomstore.  My balance was not even due therefore I did not know how this could even be possible.  I called and spoke with them but of course no one understood because they are incompetent.  I have argued with them now for almost 5 months because each person I spoke with assured me this would be taken care of. Yet somehow again I was fooled and there deceptive practices remained a constant.  This issue has still not even been taken care yet my balance is due in full in a couple of days to avoid outlandish finance charges but how is that possible when they still haven't even fixed the charges to my account.  My credit has been affected due to their incompetence and now I am told I have to pay these other charges which are purely a way for them to make money off people since again this is there incompetence and deceptive ways.  I have never worked with such a dishonest, deceptive and incompetent company and group of people.

To top it all off my couch which is only a year and half old is falling apart.  I WOULD NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!
