Sent by the Home Warranty Co. The guys comes to my home in typical salesman fashion knowing what he is going to sale. He walks in assuming the sale telling me he is the underground manager for Georgia and Alabama region and that he is 99% sure it is a root problem. Then before he gets ready to stick a plumbing snake not even a camera in the toilet he says its going to cost $125.00 to remove the toilet seat then reset it on top of the $55 dollars that the warranty company charges to come out.

Sure enough he sticks the snake in and tells me its a root problem and that it was going to cost $3500.00(sales pitch executed). So then he leaves without resetting the toilet bowl and without fixing the flange and stand pipe under the toilet bowl saying it can't be fixed until replacing the sewer pipes which cost $3500.00 dollars. I called for a second opinion. They fixed flange and stand pipe under the toilet bowl found where the root problem was by using a camera and turns out I do not have to replace the sewer pipe just repair it the price wasn't near what Rooter Express quoted me.

I called Rooter Express to speak with the owner. Once giving my complaint to the owner turned out the guy that came over was the owner. He was rude called me a dumb butt and a Taliban and told me I did not know who I was messing with and that he was coming to my house to shove the $125 up my butt. Stay away from ROOTER EXPRESS now I do not feel safe in my own home. This guy thinks he's Tony Soprano.

This is not exactly how this happened. The homeowner had a Home Warranty and they asked us to go out and call in a report. We didand it was Mainline stoppage. The customer had no outside clean-out so the only option was to pull and reset the toilet or install an outside clean-out. Called in report and his Home warranty declined his coverage because his policy covered (attempt to clear a main line stoppage thru ground level clean-out only)

So now we are the bad guys because they will not pay for it. The homeowner paid $125.00 I believe for us to pull the toilet, run a sewer machine and diagnoise the sewer was broken and had roots. The homeowner did have another company repair the problem. I spoke with the owner of that company and he also sent over his report / invoice.

I spoke with the homeowner later the next day & he only wanted his $125.00 back. He was mad because the home warranty did not cover it.

We Refunded his money and called it a loss and moved on. So I ask what did we do wrong? Nothing but work for free and get this complaint that should have been addressed with the home warranty that sold your policy to you not us.

Please remove or update that this issue was resolved & closed please. Refunded 100%
