Complaint Review: Stuart Rose Heating & Air Conditioning Company

This company was called to my home due to the airconditioning not blowing cold air, the technician insisted and said the unit was old , needed asbestos removed ,needed the copper coated coils replaced and condenser replaced and needed some electrical wiring done on the unit to meet code, in addition he explained the fence outside was recommended to be removed so the vent on the fan on the exterior wasnt so close to the fence. I called their office due to the charges seeming so exhorbitant and multiples times I was promised the technician and the owner would fax me the estimate and description of the scope of work, this never arrived nor were my calls returned.

I was given an estimate of over a thousand dollars for repair to air conditioning unit. The company fabricated many repairs that allegedly were required but never returned my calls, I had another company who came and told me that the units filter was missing and dust on the coils caused the unit not to cool properly. Job was repaired by myself for $ 2.69 for purchase of a filter and coils dusted.

Do not do business with this company who lies and attempts to bill and charge customers for work not necessary.
