Complaint Review: Rosen Auto Sales

To make people award of what Rosen is capable of doing. Rosen on Greenbay Rd in Waukegan sold my fiance an almost new van for $19,000 with only $30. down. (They never gave him a copy of the contract that he signed). The car wasn't running as well as it should have been, so, we returned the car the very next day. Rosen claimed that they would just re-sell the van.

We never saw the van go back on the lot. It stayed in a parking space by the front door of the building. Then it disappeared completely. When they were called regarding this. They claimed that they did not have the car and that my fiance still had it.

He just got a summons saying that he owns for the van. That he paid $3000. down and that he kept the van for 4 months before he returned the car. (they altered the contract).

They have lied and been deceptive the whole time. When he first went to just look at a car he told them that he had signed a contract with another dealer and they told him it didn't matter until he picked up the car he isn't obligated. They were trying to get him locked into 2 auto contracts. The other dealer was nice enough to tear up there contract. But, Rosen who was a problem from the very beginning with there inferior Auto's descided to do dirty business.

I have had many friends that have had major problem with Rosen as well. Buying new cars that are in the shop more than on the road and other very bad faudulant practices.

I guess they have just grown to big on the average consumers money to take the time to practice good public relations or being good human beings for that matter.
