On Monday 7/25/11 a voice mail was left at my home number at 6:44pm, which I received about 10 pm.  The voice mail was left by a woman who did not leave her company name or her name.  She said that this was a "notice on record of a complaint" for a person, not myself.  She listed this person's name and part of this person's social security number on my voice mail, as well as a case ID# and her phone number.  I tried the number at 10pm or so and the message on their voice mail said I'd reached the "Finalization Office" and instructed me to leave a message.  I did not leave a message.  I called this number today (7/26/11) about 1pm and spoke to a man who said, before hanging up on me, that his private extension is #105.  I told him that I was not the person he was seeking but that I thought it was a breach in privacy laws that his company had left this person's social security number on an unknown voice mail.  I asked him what kind his company is and he finally told me it was Rosenthal Stein and Associates.  I asked him what kind of company it is and he told me they handle remediation.  I asked him what kind of remediation and he proceeded to tell me that he thought I was the person he was trying to reach after all because I was so nosy.  I told him my name and told him that I felt his company must be a fraud and/or some kind of scam if he is not willing to provide any pertinent information to someone who is returning a call from their company.  I told him that I would file a complaint with my Attorney General's office and he hung up on me.  What the heck is this company?  The original voice mail message said my phone number and address are the current phone number and address on record for the person (not me) they are trying to reach.  How could that be?
