Complaint Review: Roseville Toyota

My father went to Roseville Toyota to look at prospective trucks to purchase he was by himself with his VW TDI that was going to be traded in to VW for $23,300 and change.  My father would have walked away with a check for $16,000 and change.  Long story short, he was tag teamed by 3 salesmen as well as the finance department to purchase a used Nissan Frontier with 15,900 miles.  Why this is so egregious is that he was mentally incapable of making rash and logical decisions and they, Roseville Toyota took advantage of him.  They ripped him off on his trade in the amount of, $14,100, opened a credit card for $2,000 through Roseville Toyota for his down payment, telling him it was for future credit at Roseville Toyota for service, tires, etc. and in finance department had him purchase everything under the sun.  He is on the hook for a payment of $408 for 7 years.  His final price that he will have paid for a used 2016 Nissan Frontier with interest s, $39,200.00.  I also talked with them on Wednesday the 22nd of February without any resolution.  Quote, "there is nothing we can do."

I believe this is Financial Elder Abuse
