After agreeing on a price, manager took a look at my bank account balance (in my application) and decided he could squeeze me for 3 or 4 thou more then playing dumb when I pointed out we HAD ALREADY AGREED on the price.

My mistake I gave them too much personal info they asked like my bank balance. Also I was paying cash so I figured later that they didn't need to know all my finances info.

The guy LIED on my face to a point that honestly I thought he was talking to the wrong customer and must be a different car....then he disappear, the coward.
I left really upset they took 3 hours of my life to play their little games....

That's exactly what I'd put when they ask what my balances are in my accounts. I've never heard of an application asking the balances in accounts. That's just an open door for some ripoff car dealer to try and jack the price of a vehicle up. I buy a lot of vehicles and every now and then they'll TRY and ask some inappropriate question. I give them a "nice try" look and they'll give me a smirk and a "can't blame me for trying" look. Cause they know they've been caught.

As for paying cash, I don't even disclose that, cause they're figuring how much they're gonna try and screw me on the interest rate. Many MFG's require that you finance through them, to get all the rebates, then I pay it off as soon as the first payment is due. If you go that route, just be sure there is no early payoff penalty.

READ YOUR CONTRACTS VERY CAREFULLY. Fiesta Dodge did one of those if you agree to this amount, do we have a deal. I said yes, I signed it, he signed it and we shook hands on it. Couple hours later we get into finance and they've jacked the price up $15 per month, for 48 months or $720. I said this isn't what we agreed upon at all. The jerk goes "It's ONLY $15 per month". I said nothing doing. He goes to the sales manager and comes back with "We'll split the difference with you". I said no we won't and walked out. Good for you, to get up and leave.
