First of all we signed a contract which sales claimed was "just a formality". If something happened we could cancel our rooms for wedding reception and they would resell rooms. Something unforseen did happen to the couple and we had to cancel-2 months in advance.

The sales office said they would call us since they felt sure they could resell rooms on the upcoming holiday week. They never called us. When we called, they claimed they were unable to sell the 9 rooms and were keeping our deposit of 4000.00. This is a lot of money to us, and we are stupid to have trusted the hotel's word.

Even Hilton Corporate was unable to help. Unless the hotel is really in financial trouble. I do not believe they were unable to rebook any of the 9 rooms over the July 4th holidayWish I could give them 0 stars for customer service.
