Complaint Review: ROSLYN VILLAGE VET

When Dr. Vezza started his practice he seemed to care for the animals.  However, after he built up his practice he seemed less involved.  I kept going to him anyway.  When he said my pet needed surgery, I trusted him.  I will not go into the particulars because I don't want to remain anonymous.  He kept my pet for a week, then called me and told me that my paet was dying and to run over.  The sweetheart was already sedated and unmoving.  I had wanted to hold my fur baby one last time but couldn't he had the darling already hooked up to the IV.  For all I know he had already uthanized.  

This happened a few years back.  I never went back because he could have let me take the animal home before he racked up a charge for over 2 grand.  But, if he  had let my pet die at home, or at the very least let me hold her at the end I would not have been upset, but he doesn't work many hours so he had more than a full waiting room, no time for my goodbyes.
