Complaint Review: Ross Brown Partners Tries To Change The Deal

I had a deal done on some office space in the Phoenix metro area with Ross Brown Partners when they tried to up the price. The lease and a check was sitting on their desk and they said an earlier party showed back up and had originally offered more. They said they wanted to wait and see if they would take it but if I wanted to pay more I could have it.

First they said they were 95% interested, but hadnt done any paperwork or even got to a lease yet. They stalled then said 70% sure but if we paid more they would let us have it. At that point I asked for my money back and told them if they can go thru with their original deal I would take it otherwise with thousands of spaces open in the metro area they are left at the alter alone.

As it turns out the space is still sitting empty and another month has passed by. The other party if there was one probably backed out and this lease company cannot be trusted. This all occured within 7-14 days of moving in. I advise not to rent from Ross Brown Partners or a Mike Romney who was the agent.
