Complaint Review: Rothman And Wise Previously Chasemax

A few monthes ago, I was contacted by Chris Morris from Rothman & Wise.  He was asking me if I had any outstanding invoices that I wanted him to try and get paid.  After 5-6 calls from both him and Leonard Rothman, I relented and gave them one.  It was actually paid by my client within a few days.  Great right?  Wrong!!  That was more than three monthes ago.  Chris Morris first told me that the check would go out on the 25th of the month.  I waited patiently but it never showed up.  I called, sent emails and again was told that the check had  been sent.  Again, I waited to no avail.  I sent Chris Morris a stern email at which time the owner, Leonard Rothman called and basically chewed me out for being rude and threatened to sue me for slander!!  He hung up on me!  I was outraged.  All I was asking for was my money.  Great how they treated a customer isnt it.  Mr. Rothman sent me an email the following day stating that if the check wasnt there by the weekend, he would overnight me the check and send my the tracking number.  It never showed up and that was the last I heard from MR. Rothman or anybody else from Rothman & Wise.  They have stopped returning my calls and emails.  I cant get anybody period to answer the phone there.  This has been a horrible experience.  Rothman & Wise are dishonest and cannot be trusted.  IF you dont believe me than visit the Better Busniess Bureau and talk to the district attorneys office.  There have been numerous complaints filed against them. Something has to be done to stop this deceptive scam they are getting away with!!!  P.S.  if anybody at Rothman & Wise want to dispute this claim..by all means let me know!!!
