John Kugler is the owner of Rough Rock Lodge near Minaki Ontario, he is a convicted game violator and non-ethical lodge owner.  I have dealt with this lodge and John personally, a dishonest businessman and ran some scams on us.  First he provided us a an unqaulified guide and we come to learn the guy had never guided in his life, we paid allot of money for this.  Also, he attempted to overcharge us on our bill and we caught the error, he backed off then.  On top of this, this guy has old garbage boats/motors, the food was not very good and the cabins are run down.  Considering this place is very expensive and we were decieved about aspects of our booking.

We also came across that the fact that John is a criminal, no suprise to us, he did try to rip us off on the bill!

A Nebraska man was among 4 U.S. residents convicted in connection with hunting and fishing activities at a Canadian tourist resort, according to the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. John Kugler of Sargent pleaded guilty and was fined $800 for failing to fully validate a non-resident bear hunting licence. The case stemmed from an investigation in September 2013 at the Tetu Island Lodge where officers discovered the pelt, head and claws for a large black bear. The Ministry says Kugler illegally provided non-resident bear hunting license validation for the bear which was hunted by another man.
